Pie Charts: Valentine's Day Gifts



The two pie graph compare what type of gifts are men and women buy for each other on Valentine's Day in the USA. Overall, spa/personal care, lingerie and perfume have the lowest percent in what men and women in the USA buy for each other on Valentine's Day.

Cards have the largest percentages for both genders at 18% for the men and 27% for the women. After that flowers are the second type of gifts for men to buy at 16% and approximately 5% for women. The second gift for women to buy is candy where as it is third in the men's chart around 14%. Other gifts are bought at similar rates for both genders. The lowest three gifts are spa/personal care, lingerie and perfume. The percentages are between 1 and 10 percent.

In conclusion, cards have the largest percentages for both genders, followed by candy and flowers. The lowest percent in what men and women in the USA buy for each other on Valentine's Day.
